Newark Charter Unified Football

Newark Charter’s Unified Flag Football team has reached the state finals.

Newark Charter’s Unified flag football team is heading back to Delaware Stadium, where it’s had plenty of success. The Patriots defeated Cape Henlopen 40-30 in the semifinals to advance to the state championship. They will take on the defending champion, Caesar Rodney High School. The game begins at 5 p.m. Friday and will be followed by the Class 3A title game between Salesianum and Cape Henlopen.

On Saturday at Delaware Stadium, for the second consecutive year, Caravel Academy will play in the DIAA Class 2A state championship game.
